So you might have heard from that cool kid living on your block that the May Progressive Dinner by Bicycle event was a hit. We went to Green Dot Stables, Goodwells Natural Foods and the Brooklyn St Local. Our friends Anna Harris and Scott Grenerth made some food too continuing the tradition of having Progressive Dinner riders contributing to the meal.
Due to my amazing powers over nature, the weather was perfect. By the end of the ride we were all full of amazing food and vitamin D from the sunshine we were getting. We also had made a few new friends and learned a thing or two along the way.
So why not do it again? This time we are looking at SUNDAY JULY 14TH. Yes, you saw the end of that previous sentence as a link, here it is again so you can click on it twice. Registration is now open!
The July ride is going to be similar to May’s ride with a few different food offerings. Still a leisurely ride of about 15 miles with stops along the way to get good eats. So folks of most riding abilities should be able to participate.
So whats new with food? I’m still getting things confirmed, but we are looking for the return of Detroit Vegan Soul this time around. We also will be working for the first time with Dr. Sushi (he will be making sushi) and Back Alley Bikes staff member Sicily making some grub.
So keep an eye here as I confirm who will be serving and what they’ll be making.
See you there!
